We believe that simply providing accurate, well-informed, and truthful answers to every question is essential for every customer interaction. Here are just a few common questions and answers that we believe can help you make the best water conditioning and purification decision for you and your loved ones.

What is the difference between Water Softening and Water Purification?

This is a great question we get all the time. Water softening (sometimes known as water conditioning) takes water through a resin bed. It treats the water through an ion exchange process. As a result, the hard water elements are removed, taking away the unsightly and damaging affects of hard water. Because hard water scaling is removed, water softeners can greatly enhance the performance, (and offer longer life!) of appliances and plumbing. It also provides a long lasting benefit of greatly reduced soap and detergent usage, which leads to cost savings. Some people even experience less dryness and skin irritations. Softeners also make clothing softer and helps get rid of spotty dishes.

Water purification systems remove most of the impurities in our drinking water. Even city water can have HUNDREDS of dissolved solids that worsen taste. Some research claims that these left over chemicals can be harmful to us in the long-term. A reverse osmosis water purification system takes water through several filters, most especially an osmosis membrane. This removes more than 90 percent of dissolved solids leaving your water tasting like a perfect glass of water… making even other drinks like coffee and tea taste better. For many, it also eliminates the need to buy bottled water. Ever wondered why your cup of Starbucks tastes so good? Next time you are in, ask the staff about their water filtration method!

How do I know if my household has hard water?

Hard water is NOT our friend. Virtually every well and municipal water source has hard water. It can vary in level of hardness but it is still present. Fifty percent of my customers are on city water supplies and the benefit of a conditioner is night and day. Most larger city water supplies have on the average about 7 to 8 grains of hardness. After treating your water with one of our water systems, the level of hardness drops to nearly zero. This is what provides the wonderful benefits that only soft water can offer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

MANY MOONS AGO a good friend introduced me to a local water treatment dealer. I loved it from the very start, and as they say, the rest is history.

Why are your prices significantly lower than a lot of name-brand water softening and purification companies?

This is a great question that we get asked almost every week. The biggest reason is because of what businesses usually call, “Overhead”.  Simply put, we do not have a lot of overhead costs. Bigger companies often have  overhead that drives their prices up once you get to the final price point. These expenses can be due to many factors, such as administrative costs, marketing budgets, and more. As a family owned business, we’ve always believed in providing the best possible installation for the best possible price every day… We’ve done all we can to limit any overhead expenses to ensure we offer maximum value to every family we serve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have 23 years of service, install, management and sales experience.  We also have certifications through the WQA. For more information, visit our About Us page.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In general, we start with an initial “get to know you”. This includes a phone conversation followed by a free on-site quote at your earliest convenience to discuss your water treatment. We can almost always schedule an install within 7 days.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer multiple systems for virtually any type of budget and care a lot about getting the right system for the right home. In fact, one of our softeners has a lifetime guarantee for those who want it. We also offer 12-months same as cash financing when requested, and our quotes are always free… and we always let you think about it before you make your decision!
